Project Overview:

Live Store is a flagship SaaS platform designed to streamline retail operations across multiple markets. My role as UX Designer was to deliver fast, production-ready UIs in RUN mode while setting up the foundations for data-informed product iteration. Beyond design execution, I also helped embed a UX culture by connecting research, metrics, and cross-functional collaboration.

What I did:

  • Fast UI Delivery (RUN mode)
Delivered UI improvements quickly to meet product deadlines. Instead of long pre-launch validation cycles, I relied on senior UX expertise to anticipate user needs, ensuring that designs shipped fast while still following best practices.
  • Data-Driven Iterations
Set up Heap tracking to monitor feature adoption and user interactions. This enabled the team to shift from assumption-based decisions to real usage data, allowing iteration cycles to be grounded in evidence.
  • UX Research for Adoption
Conducted interviews and field visits with strategic users (store managers and operations leads) in collaboration with the CSM team. This helped surface pain points, uncover adoption barriers, and prioritize improvements based on real customer feedback.
  • Content & UX Writing
Integrated a UX Writer into the design process to elevate the clarity of CTA buttons, labels, and microcopy. This ensured that the visual and verbal experience worked together, making the product easier to understand and adopt.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
Worked closely with PMs, CSMs, UI designers, and developers to connect design delivery with data signals and user research. This collaboration allowed us to track adoption maturity and link design outcomes to business value.

Impact:

Design

  • Accelerated delivery of production-ready UI while reducing backlog pressure.
  • Embedded a data-informed culture, with adoption signals directly influencing roadmap priorities.
  • Improved clarity and accessibility of the product’s interface through UX writing integration.
  • Strengthened client engagement, ensuring that feedback from the field translated into meaningful product updates.
  • Contributed to building a sustainable UX practice in the retail BU by aligning design, research, and metrics.

Business

  • Designed real-time in-store workflows supporting Live Store pilots, improving on-the-floor efficiency and adoption across multiple boutiques.
  • Supported international rollout by ensuring UX scalability; directly aligned with Cegid’s positioning as a global leader in mobile POS for fashion retail (IDC MarketScape via Aton).
  • Enabled localization-ready design, cutting adaptation time by ~40%, supporting expansion use cases (cf. Messika using Cegid Retail for global growth (Cegid case study).

Client-Centric Approach:

I collaborated directly with clients and store managers, often alongside the Customer Success Management (CSM) team, to gather field feedback and understand adoption challenges. These conversations ensured that design decisions were grounded in real retail needs and that improvements addressed both end-user and business pain points.

Expert Team:

Within Live Store, I worked closely with UI designers, developers, PMs, and a UX writer to deliver fast, high-quality product updates. By integrating UX writing into the design process, we elevated the clarity of CTAs, labels, and microcopy — ensuring that the visual and verbal experience worked seamlessly together to support adoption.

Guaranteed Excellence:

Working in RUN mode, I delivered production-ready UIs under tight deadlines while setting up Heap tracking to validate adoption with live data. This combination of fast delivery and data-informed iteration ensured that our releases were not just functional, but continuously improved based on user behavior.
